Hello~ I’ll be doing posts in this format from now on: Atmosphere, service, food, price, location, notes.
A sushi trailer done right? Let’s find out.
Atmosphere: Bluntly speaking, it’s located right next to a Shell gas station… not the prettiest of places, but it didn’t bother me much since it’s kind of convenient for drinks. Still gets some cuteness points for being a trailer.
Service: Friendly and attentive cashier and sushi chef =).
Food: I’ve had some good sushi in my day(2 omakase’s so far), and I’ve got to say that this is the most convenient way to satisfy a sushi craving. I really liked the tuna avocado and crunch roll… generic I know, but the ingredients are all surprisingly fresh. And hey, it’s sort of like comfort food now days, right..?
The popular sunshine roll (salmon, avocado, mango) is interesting because you get that mix of salty, sweet, spicy(wasabi), and soothingness(avocado). Great choice if you like mango salsa.
Price: About $10 per person.
Directions: Located on Medical Arts in the shell parking lot behind the taco shack on Lamar. Pretty darn close to campus and precision camera.
Notes: Cash Only, and you can order to-go or ahead of time!

**More notes:
I’ll be doing more reviews, but if you would like to see a nice list of places I’ve been to, visit my page on yelp (even though i hate 95% of yelpers).

i agree, good place for quick cravin fixes, if the daily central market/heb sushi doesn’t look fresh. but i think CM/WF would be fresher than HEB. we also tried this place when they had a groupon deal. and we ate it at 32 degrees weather. needless to say, we ate in our car. so, it’ll be great for the texas heat
