Hello everyone,
Had a chance to try out Hot Pot City before their grand opening today. They had a preopening for tenants in the area for a free dinner last night. I havent had the chance to eat hot pot at restaurants because I prefer to make it at home, but this restaurant was pretty decent. Their presentation of the food on the plates were pretty and the food was good. Sorry for the quality of the pictures because all I had was my cellphone on me.
Alright, this place is located on Guadalupe and Between MLK and 21st.
It’s finally open for good. It’s been closing on and off for a while due to some issues.
I’m Vietnamese and I know what type of banh mi I like. And BITE MI, quite frankly, is not what I like.

Sorry for my very, very late entry since I first joined the blog. Been busy and broke so no eating out lately. First let me introduce myself. My name is Bao and I’m pretty much a college grad bum at the moment. I spend my days working, taking extra classes before optometry school, and love eating out. I’m always open to suggestions , recommendations, and invitation (only by girls) to eat so please do leave comments.
Pho Ga Dakao is located on Bellaire and Kirkwood in Houston. I eat at this restaurant atleast 2-3 times a week and cannot get sick of it. The name is of the restaurant seems skeptical to me at first because I thought they only serve pho ga which is Vietnamese chicken noodle soup, but they have a full menu with a big variety.
A new comer to the warehouse scene is Frank’s: A scrumptuous purveyor of pork and all of it’s tasty buddies 
Located on Colorado between 5th and 4th next to Cuba Libre and thePhoenix, its price point is actually what you would expect of warehouse district, though capped at reasonability (ranging around $4 to 8 depending). Their dogs have some of the most interesting concepts I’ve tried (the Chicago and slaw dogs are delish, and I fell in love with the Jackalope) They also have daily specials which are pretty dope! I got to try their Notorios P.I.G and a BACON CUPCAKE! I really recommend grabbing their lil smokie corn dog bites($4 more) or their chili cheese waffle fries ($6, but this is enough to fill you, even if shared).
Simply for me the BEST lil taco joint off of Riverside, I enthusiastically bring all my friends here after a late night of … chatting, and …watching other people drink
If you’re heading south on i-35, exit Riverside, make a left, and there’s a snall little road on your right after you pass the Jack-in-the-box, but before you get to Parker ln./Arena dr.
Gourmet cupcakes are in now days, so why not gourmet donuts? When a friend told me that he could barely finish 1 donut from here, I thought he was a pansy. But, after taking a few bites of this trailer’s beautiful mounds of fried dough and heavenly(or devlishly) sweet toppings, I retract my earlier thought.
